Is this a question for a class?
Perhaps the link is respecting different cultures – religious and heritage wise? Recognizing different country’s holidays? I would think they would try to incorporate many of the society’s culture into its business culture in order to allow the company more access to a new culture. That way the company comes across as familiar and welcoming instead of foreign and cold.
