Your slogan will be a short or condensed version or your usp. Your Unique Selling Proposition answers the question, “Why should I buy from you now, instead of from someone else?”. It defines who and what you are. It is the reason you are in business. Why should prospects do business with you? How are they greater advantaged in doing business with you vs. any of your competitors? Your unique advantages tell the marketplace what you offer that others don’t. It’s about being different from everyone else and clearly and succinctly communicating what you do for your customers. It’s what they get that makes you the decisive choice over and above all other options. Most business owners think a USP is a catchy slogan. If you can create one that’s catchy that’s great, but you need to be sure the message is clear. Other businesses think the USP is about who they are or what they do.
