i want to start a small scale business with capital 6 lakhs can anyone suggest business idea?
i am sri completed my mba in finance .i want to start business in hyd.plz suggest a business.
Import stuff from abroad, good source would be www.alibaba.com, get the latest in gadgets and sell them in India via ebay.in and also set up distribution network, tie up with mobile retailers to push your products.

I’d suggest starting a small food business (e.g. a kiosk) then eventually grow your business through franchising.

Think of "Stock broking" services.
My reasons are :
1. You are related to finance so easier for you to understand the workings and also easier to discuss with your clients about all things.
2. The funds requirement to start the sub-broking / franchise operations is comparatively small. Fits your budget + leaves some balance funds for liquidity in your business.
3. Share markets have taken a long beating. Easier if you start now and register as many clients as possible. In boom times, people come and go. But at these times, whoever becomes your client and if you provide proper services, will be forever loyal to you.
4. Though the markets are down in the dumps, still equity markets are expanding in turnover as well as in number of investors. As new generation workers will start earnings, many of them will be investing in stocks. Think of this.
