No you cannot set up a business you have to inform the home office and apply for a different type of visa, i mean you could try and do it without iforming them but you have to earn enough money to prove you are self sufficient and what happens when your visa expires? you will have to enroll again and sacrifice your time within your business and be in breach of immigration laws. I'm from Nigeria as well and have been in England for 8 years now and i haven't encountered any prejudice.<br><b>References : </b><br> hi, ignore the racists.
