Since prostitution is illegal, but pornography isn’t, Can I start a ‘Make Your Own Porn" business?
in which the ‘client’ pays production costs and actress fees, and can have a video if they choose?
Would there be any legal issues with this idea? I’m trying to start my own business.
Dr. Deth has it right. Why don’t you just open up your own Adult Production Company instead.

that kind of thing is probably only legal in the state of California where the porn industry resides – you might have major issues with find a place to rent or even getting a business license and advertising
the actresses are going to have to paid a lot up front, you have health requirements, ongoing testing for HIV, STD’s, etc – all your cost

Sure, why not? Wouldn’t that just make you a producer?
